Rainy weather and storms postponed the event's start from 2 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., but attendees arrived prepared with raincoats and ponchos, undeterred from enjoying the festivities.
More than 50 breweries participated, providing guests with the opportunity to sample over 250 types of beer, many sourced from local Kentuckiana producers. The event featured a variety of entertainment options, including live music, a silent disco, OVW wrestling matches, a cigar lounge, and food trucks. Vintage planes were on display, aligning with the aviation theme of the venue, and the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile made a special appearance.
Attendee Luke Bradshaw captured the atmosphere, saying, "If you love beer, this is the place to be. It's good vibes and good people out here. If you love Kentucky and love beer this is the place to be."
Organizers noted that funds raised from ticket sales and beer tastings would benefit Pints for Parkinson's, a charity supporting research and awareness for the disease.
