Alexisonfire and Billy Talent announce co-headlining shows

Canadian bands Alexisonfire and Billy Talent have revealed plans for two co-headlining performances this summer, marking the 20th anniversaries of key albums. The shows will take place in London and Montreal, with Alexisonfire performing their 2006 album 'Crisis' in full. Ticket sales begin soon, with proceeds supporting charitable causes.

This summer, alternative rock band Billy Talent and post-hardcore outfit Alexisonfire will join forces for two major co-headlining concerts. The performances celebrate the 20th anniversaries of albums pivotal to each band's career: Billy Talent's sophomore release 'Billy Talent II' and Alexisonfire's third studio album 'Crisis'. At these events, Alexisonfire plans to play 'Crisis' from start to finish, while Billy Talent promotes their earlier work. The band is also currently developing a sixth studio album.

The concerts are set for Wembley Arena in London, UK, on June 24, and Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, on July 17. Both venues are large-scale arenas expected to draw significant crowds.

Ticket availability details have been outlined by the bands. For the Montreal show, artist presales start on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at 10 a.m. local time through Ticketmaster. Fans can obtain presale passwords via Billy Talent and Alexisonfire's mailing lists and social media channels. General public sales begin on Friday, February 13, 2026, at 10 a.m. local time.

The bands have collaborated with PLUS1, ensuring that $1 CAD from each Montreal ticket and £1 from each London ticket goes to organizations including EB Research Partnership, War Child Canada, Young Minds, and ASTT(e)Q.

Alexisonfire, formed in 2001 in St. Catharines, Ontario, consists of Wade MacNeil on lead guitar and vocals, Chris Steele on bass, Jordan Hastings on drums and percussion, George Pettit on vocals, and Dallas Green on vocals, rhythm guitar, and keyboards. The group gained prominence with their 2002 self-titled debut, featuring the track 'Pulmonary Archery'. Follow-up albums 'Watch Out!' in 2004 and 'Crisis' in 2006 solidified their success, with the latter topping the Canadian Albums Chart. Their 2009 release 'Old Crows / Young Cardinals' explored heavier, experimental sounds. The band's name draws from pornographic actress Alexis Fire, who briefly considered legal action but took none after discovering her pseudonym was unregistered.

These shows highlight the enduring appeal of both acts in the alternative rock scene.
