A new seafood restaurant and craft brewery, Lighthouse 153, is set to open in downtown Hanover, Pennsylvania, in summer 2026. The venue will occupy the former space of Something Wicked Brewing Company at 34 Broadway. Owned by local residents Jessica and Matthew Krumrine, it aims to bring New England-inspired cuisine to the area.
Lighthouse 153, currently operating as a vendor at the Franklin Street Social Hall in Red Lion, announced plans to expand into downtown Hanover. The business will transform the space at 34 Broadway, previously home to Something Wicked Brewing Company, which closed on September 6, 2025, after over a decade of operation. This marks the first new tenant for the location since the closure.
The owners, Jessica and Matthew Krumrine of Red Lion, opened their original Lighthouse 153 spot in November 2025. They described the expansion in a statement: "Our newest location will feature a full-service restaurant and craft brewery, bringing fresh seafood, cold craft beer, and the Lighthouse experience to a whole new community."
The menu will focus on New England-inspired dishes, including lobster rolls, golden crab cakes, beer-battered rockfish, savory soups and bisques, and steamed shrimp. The Krumrines expressed gratitude for the support driving their growth: "This growth is only possible because of our incredible guests, team and supporters who continue to grow with us every day."
The planned summer 2026 opening comes amid ongoing developments in Hanover's downtown business scene, providing a fresh dining option in the community.
