Hyderabad coffee enthusiasts flock to Kukatpally for gourmet festival

Coffee lovers in Hyderabad are making their way to Kukatpally this weekend for the Gourmet Coffee Festival at Lakeshore Mall. The event, conceptualized by Durgesh Khandelwal of Team ADit, connects specialty roasters with everyday consumers through workshops and performances. It runs on March 14 and 15, 2026, from 4 pm to 11 pm.

The Gourmet Coffee Festival takes place on the rooftop at The Park L3, Lakeshore Mall, in Kukatpally, Hyderabad. Organized to highlight artisanal coffee in a city known for its Irani chai tradition, the two-day event features interactive experiences for attendees of all levels.

Visitors can participate in DIY roasting sessions, where professional roasters guide the process from green beans to finished roasts, allowing participants to take home their creations. Latte art and brewing workshops offer hands-on demonstrations to develop skills from beginner to advanced. Cupping sessions provide guided tastings to explore flavors and aromas of boutique blends.

The festival includes a Coffee Rave with complimentary shots to energize the crowd. Live music performances by bands such as Aarje, Deesha, Almost Pop, Band Maracas, and Root Three Five (RTF), along with DJ Talam, will feature regional and contemporary beats.

Tickets start at Rs. 249 and are available on BookMyShow and District by Zomato. The event aims to bridge the gap between specialty roasters and everyday coffee enthusiasts, fostering a shift toward artisanal coffee culture in Hyderabad.
