The developers of InZOI have shared details on their upcoming update scheduled for February 12, 2026, focusing on Lunar New Year-themed content and gameplay improvements. Director and Producer Hyungjun “Kjun” Kim highlighted new animations and UI enhancements in a recent video diary. The patch aims to refine core features while introducing seasonal assets.
In a video diary released on February 6, 2026, Hyungjun “Kjun” Kim, director and producer of InZOI from Krafton, provided insights into the game's next update, set for February 12, 2026, at 15:00 KST. This follows a previous update about a week earlier, with the team emphasizing foundational improvements over new content to ensure stability. Kjun noted in his brainstorming letter that the developers plan to release around 7–8 updates throughout 2026, distributing content gradually to avoid issues seen in larger patches.
The update centers on Lunar New Year celebrations, adding new traditional outfits, a themed studio background, and matching Build Mode assets. Players can expect 51 new build items, including two types of stairs, one pillar, two windows, three doors, and various materials, props, furniture, and lighting options. Character customization expands with 19 items, such as two new hair styles, nine outfit sets, four shoe types, and four hats, plus a new free outfit in the CONNECT clothing store.
Gameplay enhancements include Smart Zoi improvements, a new “Sit on Floor Cushion” interaction, and a reduced chance of catching a cold when walking in the rain without an umbrella. UI updates feature a more user-friendly in-game calendar, a simplified mod manager, Canvas filter improvements, and a unified mod management interface. Animations receive attention too: bushes now move more naturally with the wind, a new romance animation is added with more interactions planned, and family scenes like an adult reading to a child or an infant approaching a mirror are introduced. Work continues on rap battle animations and additional family dynamics per player feedback.
Graphical tweaks include a new lobby banner, changes to the loading screen's butterfly color, and a revamped Canvas monitor on the home screen. Kjun apologized for late announcements, expressing hopes for player enjoyment of the upcoming features.
