Jonah Hill has shocked fans with a dramatic new appearance in first-look images from his upcoming Apple TV film Outcome, co-starring Keanu Reeves and Cameron Diaz. The actor, director, and co-writer sports a shaved head and silver beard, highlighting significant weight loss achieved through dietary changes. This marks Hill's return to the screen after stepping back due to personal challenges.
Jonah Hill's transformation has drawn widespread attention following the release of initial photos from Outcome, a dark comedy set for Apple TV on April 10. In the film, Hill plays Ira, a crisis lawyer to Reeves's character, Reef Hawk, an actor blackmailed with a compromising video that threatens his career. Cameron Diaz and Matt Bomer portray Hawk's lifelong friends, joined by an ensemble including Martin Scorsese, Laverne Cox, Kaia Gerber, Susan Lucci, David Spade, Atsuko Okatsuka, Ivy Wolk, and Roy Wood Jr.
The images, shared via Apple TV's Twitter on February 3, 2026, show Hill in conversation with Reeves, emphasizing his altered physique. Hill has previously addressed his weight loss, crediting a nutritionist for habit changes rather than quick fixes. He expressed frustration with public commentary, stating, “I know you mean well, but I kindly ask that you not comment on my body. Good or bad, I want to politely let you know it’s not helpful and doesn’t feel good. Much respect.”
Hill's on-screen absence since 2023's You People stems from decisions shared in his 2022 documentary Stutz. There, he revealed nearly two decades of anxiety attacks worsened by media exposure, saying, “Through this journey of self-discovery within the film, I have come to the understanding that I have spent nearly 20 years experiencing anxiety attacks, which are exacerbated by media appearances and public facing events.” His prior role was in 2021's Don’t Look Up.
Outcome arrives amid lingering public discourse from 2023 allegations by ex-girlfriend Sarah Brady, shared via social media screenshots detailing their relationship. This project signals Hill's re-entry into acting after a period of reduced visibility.
