NFO flows hit five-year low in June quarter

New fund offer collections by asset management companies fell to a five-year low in June. The drop followed weak equity market sentiments in the preceding quarter.

Although market sentiment later improved, the recovery did not revive fundraising through new fund offers.

Established fund houses and differentiated products may still attract investor interest.

SIPs remained robust during the same period.
