Rascal Martinez to perform at Prairie Arts Event Center

Rascal Martinez, a Nebraska native musician, will take the stage at the Prairie Arts Event Center on Friday for a special Friday the 13th show starting at 7 p.m. The performance features a mix of his original Americana songs and covers from the 1950s and 1960s. Tickets are available in advance for this intimate evening of music.

Rascal Martinez, originally from southern Nebraska, has been touring across the United States for more than 15 years. His performances span a variety of venues, including high schools, senior centers, weddings, and corporate events. On Friday, he will share the stage with Brian Wheeler on keys at the Prairie Arts Event Center.

The concert promises a relaxed, intimate evening, as Martinez describes it. Attendees can expect a selection of original songs, familiar favorites from the 1950s and 1960s, and opportunities for audience requests. Martinez is also set to release new music later this month.

General admission tickets cost $20, while a $65 VIP package offers two tickets, a bottle of wine, and a light dessert for two—ideal timing ahead of Valentine’s Day weekend. All tickets must be purchased in advance through the events tab on prairieartscenter.org. Merchandise will be available for purchase at the show.

This Friday the 13th performance highlights Martinez's blend of Americana originals and classic covers, providing an engaging night for music enthusiasts in the region.
