Locally owned boutique Anton & Maxine in Columbia will host an exclusive runway presentation for its spring/summer 2026 collection. The event, titled En-Cloth-Sure 2, is scheduled for March 28 at the store's location in Five Points. Tickets are available now.
The runway show will take place at Anton & Maxine, located at 713 Saluda Avenue in Five Points, Columbia. Designer Diko Pekdemir-Lewis, who founded the artisan fashion brand, shared details about the new collection. "This year I'm concentrating on one of a kind items," Pekdemir-Lewis said. "I did that in the fall, and it was a real hit. I finished it. I ironed it, took a picture, and then somebody walked in and bought it. That happened with four or five items, and I was so amazed. That's why I thought I'd continue with that. One of a kind items, the base is all black, but then a statement piece in different colors and color blocking, patchwork."
The evening will begin with a contemporary dance performance by Katelyn Vetro, a University of South Carolina student majoring in retailing and fashion merchandising, who previously interned at the boutique. This reflects the brand's commitment to community and mentorship. Guests will enjoy wine and light hors d’oeuvres upon arrival, along with complimentary massage therapy provided by Felicia Berry of Magic Hands throughout the event.
After the runway presentation, attendees can participate in a Sip & Shop session, allowing them to interact with Pekdemir-Lewis, examine the collection closely, and purchase select pieces from the spring/summer 2026 line in a relaxed setting.
