Owen Sawyer and Paul Beauvy topped the Cyclones' individual performances, each finishing tied for 11th at three under par. Sawyer carded a 72 in the first round and a 69 in the second, accumulating eight birdies and the third-lowest score on par-3 holes at three under in the field. Beauvy shot 71 and 70, both below par, with seven birdies.
Jackson McCommon tied for 50th at four over par with rounds of 74-74, recording six birdies and his second eagle of the season. Dianchao Wu placed tied for 76th at eight over par after 77-75, with three birdies. Zach May finished tied for 87th at 12 over par, shooting 78 in each round.
Competing as an individual, Jesse Trembath ended in 75th place at seven over par with scores of 75-76 and six birdies.
In the team standings, No. 50 Kentucky leads at 12 under par, one stroke ahead of Ohio State, which shot 10 under in the second round. On the individual leaderboard, Kentucky's Jack Schoenberger and Iowa's Ryan Shellberg share the lead at seven under par.
