Lana Del Rey announces new single White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter

Lana Del Rey has revealed details about her upcoming single 'White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter,' set for release on February 17, 2026. The track serves as a preview for her tenth studio album, Stove, which she described as arriving soon. She shared the news via an online message to fans, highlighting the song's personal significance.

Lana Del Rey announced her new single 'White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter' on February 10, 2026, through a video message on Instagram stories. The song, which she called her favorite on the upcoming album, is scheduled for release on February 17, 2026. Del Rey expressed enthusiasm, stating, 'I just wanted to make a little message and let you know that my new single and my favorite song [on the new album] — this is the one I’ve been waiting for — ‘White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter’ is coming out on the 17th.' She added, 'I really want you to focus on this single. I'm really happy about it. Finally going to be out.'

The track was co-produced by Jack Antonoff and Drew Erickson, with co-writing credits to Del Rey's husband—named as Jeffrey Dufrene in one report and Jeremy Dufrene in another—her brother-in-law, and her sister, Caroline 'Chuck' Grant. The group also contributed to the music video, which Del Rey noted involved extensive editing. Mixing was handled by Laura Sisk and Dean Reid.

'White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter' follows recent singles 'Bluebird' and 'Henry, Come On,' both released since 2023, signaling a shift toward country music. It previews Stove, Del Rey's tenth album, initially planned for May 2025 under working titles including Lasso, The Right Person Will Stay, and Classic—later changed to Stove. The album's release has been delayed, partly due to vinyl production timelines. Del Rey addressed fan inquiries, saying, 'I know, you’re asking about the record. But honestly, [it’s going to come] soon. ‘Cause vinyl takes three months, so three months plus two weeks. It could be give or take a bit less than that.' Teased tracks include '57.5,' 'Quiet in the South,' 'Stand by Your Man,' and 'Stars Fell on Alabama.'

This comes after her 2023 album Did you know there’s a tunnel under Ocean Blvd, following earlier releases like Blue Banisters, Chemtrails Over The Country Club, and Norman Fucking Rockwell.
