Lenovo has announced an updated version of its Legion Tab gaming tablet at MWC, featuring a larger battery and improved processor. The device includes an 8.8-inch display and starts at $849. The company also revealed a new 15-inch gaming laptop variant.

Lenovo showcased several gaming products at the Mobile World Congress (MWC), with the refreshed Legion Tab standing out for its enhanced battery life. This follows previous generations, the Gen 4 and Gen 3 models, and builds on the company's recent foldable Legion Go hybrid device.

The Legion Tab Gen 5 retains the 8.8-inch LCD display with a 165Hz refresh rate and 3K resolution, capable of reaching 600 nits brightness. Key upgrades include the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and a 9,000mAh battery, aimed at supporting extended gaming sessions. It weighs 360g and comes with 16GB of RAM and storage options up to 512GB. Additional features comprise two USB-C ports, an RGB light ring near the rear camera, and support for Lenovo AI Engine+, which provides AI-driven audio enhancement and noise cancellation.

Available in Eclipse Black, Glacier White, and Surge colors, the tablet will launch in May with prices beginning at $849.

In related announcements, Lenovo introduced a 15-inch version of its Gen 11 Legion 7a gaming laptop, complementing the 16-inch model revealed at CES in January. This variant features a PureSight OLED display, Ryzen AI Max+ 392 processor with integrated Radeon 8060S graphics, and weighs 1.65kg. Its 84Whr battery suits its portable design, with storage up to 2TB. It will be available starting in July at $2,299.

These releases underscore Lenovo's focus on portable gaming hardware with strong performance and battery efficiency.
