With 38 countries competing, the team clinched the gold medal by taking first place in the team relay event. This success represents the first gold medal win for athletes from the Ethiopian Defense Force's Mechal Sport Club in this competition.

The participating athletes include Amsha Aleqa Dejene Teshome, Asra Aleqa Yobsan Biru, Meseret Molugeta, and Meseret Chaltu Tadesse. These competitors secured the top position through their combined efforts in the relay.
