Nike has released details on its Air Max 95 'England' edition, designed for fans of the national football team ahead of the World Cup. The sneaker features a white base with red and silver accents, including the Three Lions crest. It will be available for purchase on March 23 at $190.
As preparations for the World Cup intensify, Nike continues to expand its lineup of team-inspired sneakers. The Nike Air Max 95 “England” draws inspiration from the England National Football Team, often called the Three Lions. This edition incorporates Big Bubble construction and mirrors the team's home kits with a predominantly white colorway.
The upper consists of white leather side panels and a matching midsole. A wavy stripe in metallic silver includes a red Swoosh, while Speed Red appears on the visible Air Max units, eyelet loops, and lace loops. Metallic silver details run along the tongue, heel, and spine. The tongue bears the England badge, featuring the Three Lions crest and a single gold star commemorating the team's 1966 World Cup victory.
This release joins other Nike sneakers tied to the tournament, such as an Air Force 1 Low for the United States and styles inspired by Mexico, France, and general football motifs like the Total 90 Laser and Hypervenom Phantom 1 on Air Max 90s. England enters the World Cup as one of the favorites, despite past disappointments.
The Nike Air Max 95 “England,” in colorway IQ0176-100, launches on March 23 through Nike's website and select retailers. Pricing is set at $190.
