In 2026, the event coincides with the first Mario Day since the Nintendo Switch 2 launch, alongside preparations for the Mario 40th anniversary and the upcoming Super Mario Galaxy Movie.
Nintendo began its official eShop sale on March 5, extending through March 15. The discounts cover a small array of titles, including:
