Prime Minister Abiy holds consultations in Azerbaijan

Addis Ababa, February 20, 2018 (EC) – Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed's official consultations with various institutions in Azerbaijan further strengthen Ethiopia's national integration, the Prime Minister's Office stated.

During the visit, the Prime Minister and his delegation held discussions with the government's agency for public service and social development creation center in Azerbaijan. The Prime Minister's Office indicated that the consultation highlights a strategic direction to expand human resource management and digitize public services in Azerbaijan.

Additionally, they visited the human resource development academy, which serves as the main center for the country's human resource engineering and management training. Continuing the consultations, they toured the Sangachal Terminal, one of the major oil and gas processing centers in the region, and the Alat Free Economic Zone, expressing interest in future economic cooperation.

These consultations are described as enhancing cooperation in trade, energy, and digital transformation between the two countries.
