Sara Duterte, Bong Go top choices in 2028 survey

Vice President Sara Duterte and Sen. Bong Go emerged as the top preferred candidates for president and vice president in the latest Pulse Asia survey for 2028.

The survey conducted from June 28 to July 6 found that 49 percent of respondents would vote for Duterte for president. Her closest rivals were Naga City Mayor Leni Robredo with 26 percent and Sen. Raffy Tulfo with 14 percent.

For vice president, Go obtained 27 percent support. He was followed by Sen. Robin Padilla with 21 percent, and Sen. Bam Aquino and former senator Grace Poe with 14 percent each.

The survey was conducted amid the ongoing impeachment proceedings against Duterte. Duterte had support across most socio-economic groups and geographic areas except in Balance Luzon where she tied with Robredo at 31 percent.
