UNM students qualify for PIMNAS 38 and shine at opening

A team from Universitas Nusa Mandiri (UNM) has qualified for the 38th National Student Scientific Week (PIMNAS) with a digital innovation project for small businesses. They stole the spotlight during the opening parade at Universitas Hasanuddin in Makassar. This achievement underscores UNM's commitment as a digital business campus.

The 38th National Student Scientific Week (PIMNAS) is taking place from November 23 to 28, 2025, at Universitas Hasanuddin (Unhas) in Makassar. Over 400 teams from 167 national universities have qualified for the event, including a team from Universitas Nusa Mandiri (UNM).

The UNM team, named “Samba In Frame,” comes from the PKM-Applied Science and Technology (PKM-PI) scheme. Led by Endhita Asmarani Miswanto, with members Nisa Febrina Maushal and Danang Rusdawindra Samiaji, they present a proposal titled “Utilizing Instagram Social Media to Strengthen Brand Awareness for Samja Eat and Drink SME.” The project is guided by Johan Hendri Prasetyo, a lecturer in UNM's Digital Business program, supporting from research to digital strategy implementation.

During the opening parade, Danang Rusdawindra Samiaji and Nisa Febrina Maushal confidently appeared in Betawi traditional attire while carrying the UNM flag. This display served as a moment to showcase the campus's identity and the students' readiness to compete nationally.

UNM's Student Affairs Coordinator, Taopik Hidayat, stated, “We are proud of the Samba In Frame team's success in bringing UNM's name to PIMNAS 38. This achievement shows that Universitas Nusa Mandiri students have the capacity and creativity to produce beneficial solutions for society.” He added that the project has improved digital content management for Samja Eat and Drink SME, including the use of Reels features and insight analysis for promotions.

Team leader Endhita Asmarani Miswanto expressed, “We are very proud to be part of PIMNAS 38. This journey has been challenging but provided an extraordinary experience for us.” This accomplishment motivates UNM students to continue innovating and competing at the national level.
