Xbox has teased the upcoming addition of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 to its Game Pass subscription service. The hint, shared on social media, points to the acclaimed 2025 title joining the lineup soon. The original game is already available on the platform.
On February 16, 2026, the official Xbox Game Pass account on X posted a teaser suggesting that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, one of the most well-received games of 2025, will soon arrive on the subscription service. The post, formatted as an "email," stated: “We’ve got quite the release slate lined up for Xbox Game Pass so far, this is going to be a huge year.” It continued, “Oh, and speaking of upcoming releases… well, I shouldn’t say too much, but if you’re getting quite hungry for a fun adventure, all I can say is that something big is about to be deliverance’d to Xbox Game Pass…”
The use of “deliverance’d” serves as a clear reference to Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, which released a little over a year ago and earned nominations for Game of the Year awards, including at The Game Awards. The game has been praised as one of 2025's best-reviewed titles, alongside others like Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and DOOM: The Dark Ages that have already joined Game Pass.
While no exact release date was provided, the timing of the tease indicates it could happen in the latter half of February 2026. Xbox typically announces new Game Pass additions on Tuesdays, with the next opportunity being February 17, 2026. The original Kingdom Come: Deliverance is currently available on Xbox Game Pass for Ultimate, PC, and Premium subscribers.
This potential addition aligns with Xbox's strategy of incorporating popular recent releases into its service, enhancing its library for subscribers.
