A video on Aftonbladet depicts a physical altercation in a Halmstad store over the jars. At ICA Supermarket in Bunkeflostrand, staff report overwhelming calls from distraught customers, including some in tears, unable to secure one.
Resale activity is booming on Tradera, with the priciest jar fetching over 3,000 kronor—labeled 'circular trade' by the platform. To cope, a Tibro store now limits jars to buyers of an entire coffee case (over 1,000 kronor), seen as cheaper than auctions.
