On March 20, Briana N. Cox's Indigent (Graveside Press)—previously featured in our Black horror preview—explores racism, classism, and gentrification in Atlanta's Leigh Pierce Estates through handyman Xavier's hunger-inducing affliction.

Rounding out the month, Linda Hamilton's historical The Fourth Wife (Kensington) follows Hazel Russon navigating supernatural perils and secrets as the fourth wife in an 1880s Utah mansion.
