The University of Indianapolis men's track and field team has climbed to No. 10 in the USTFCCCA's latest national rating index, just two weeks before the GLVC 2026 Indoor Championships. The Greyhounds earned 63.07 points, led by standout performances from Josue Le Cadre and others. This marks them as the top-ranked team from the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
With the GLVC 2026 Indoor Championships approaching in two weeks, the UIndy Greyhounds men's track and field program has secured the No. 10 spot in the USTFCCCA's checkpoint four rating index, accumulating 63.07 points. This national ranking highlights their strong position heading into conference competition.
Josue Le Cadre leads the team with a national-best time of 1:46.87 in the 800m, falling just short of the all-time Division II record by less than a second. The French athlete also ranks 22nd in the mile. Teammates Yanis Le Mouillour and Felix Rivet follow in the 800m at No. 10 and No. 20, respectively. Rivet additionally holds the 25th position in the mile and No. 11 in the 3000m, where he set a program record of 7:58.51.
The distance medley relay squad, featuring Rivet, Le Cadre, Le Mouillour, and Lateef Mustafaa, ranks fourth nationally. In field events, Alex Meyer stands at No. 7 in the long jump, while Dylan Mayhew is 24th in the weight throw.
Grand Valley State now leads the national rankings with 226.54 points, surpassing Wingate. Within the GLVC, UIndy remains the highest-ranked team, ahead of Missouri S&T at No. 15. This index reflects performances from recent meets and positions the Greyhounds as contenders in the upcoming indoor season.
