Honda announces diverse motorcycle lineup for 2026

Honda has revealed a broad range of motorcycles for the 2026 model year, spanning from affordable entry-level bikes to high-performance supersports. The lineup includes dual-sport, adventure, retro, and touring models, with prices starting at $3,399. These bikes cater to beginners, commuters, and experienced riders alike.

Honda, which began producing motorcycles in 1947 with a motorized bicycle, continues its legacy into 2026 with an extensive selection of models built in factories worldwide, including Vietnam, Pakistan, Indonesia, and China.

The entry-level XR150L dual-sport bike features a 149cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine and five-speed manual transmission, priced at $3,399 plus a $300 destination charge. It suits beginners and commuters with its rugged steel frame and 19-inch front wheel.

For retro appeal, the Dax 125 offers a 124cc engine and four-speed semi-automatic transmission, reaching up to 55 mph, at $4,199 plus $300. The updated Monkey minibike, with a 124cc engine and LED lights, achieves 162.6 MPG and costs $4,399 plus $300.

Mid-range options include the CB500 Hornet streetfighter and CBR500R sport bike, both with 471cc two-cylinder engines and six-speed manuals, priced at $5,899 and $6,399 respectively, plus $600. The NX500 adventure model, renamed from CB500X in 2024, shares the engine but adds a 4.7-gallon tank for $6,899 plus $600. The SCL500 scrambler variant is $6,999 plus $600.

Higher-performance bikes feature the CB650R and CBR650R with 649cc four-cylinder engines and E-Clutch, at $8,699 and $9,199 plus $600. The NC750X DCT adventure bike has a 745cc parallel-twin and dual-clutch transmission for $9,499 plus $600.

Off-road trials bikes include the Montesa Cota 4RT 260R ($9,849 plus $600) and 301RR ($12,949 plus $600), developed with input from champion Toni Bou.

Larger models comprise the CB1000 Hornet SP ($10,999 plus $775), NT1100 DCT sport tourer ($11,999 plus $775), Africa Twin (base $15,199 to top $18,599 plus $775), and flagship CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP ($28,999 plus $775).

These models emphasize reliability, modern features like ABS and LED lighting, and varied riding styles from urban commuting to long-distance adventures.
