This week marked a subdued addition to Netflix's US catalog, with 20 new movies and series arriving between February 20 and 26, 2025. The platform prioritized space for the highly anticipated Bridgerton season 4 part 2, a Netflix Original TV-MA English series, allowing it to draw viewer attention without competition from major newcomers.
Among the standout picks, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning (2023), a PG-13 English movie directed by Christopher McQuarrie and starring Tom Cruise, returned to the service. The film, the first part of a two-part story, showcases death-defying stunts, an ensemble cast including Hayley Atwell and Ving Rhames, and action sequences involving a faceless AI antagonist. Another addition, The Forsyte Saga seasons 1-2, a TV-PG English period drama based on John Galsworthy’s novels, chronicles the Forsyte family's dramas from the 1870s to 1920s, focusing on Soames Forsyte's turbulent marriage to Irene. This PBS Masterpiece series, with 12 episodes and cast including Damian Lewis and Gina McKee, arrived a decade after its last streaming run.
The Commune (2016), a TV-MA Danish movie directed by Thomas Vinterberg, follows an architecture professor who inherits a mansion and forms a commune with his family. Written by Vinterberg and Tobias Lindholm, it stars Fares Fares, Trine Dyrholm, and Ulrich Thomsen in a witty, moving tale.

In the most popular movies chart, The Expendables 4 led with 66 points, followed by Joe’s College Road Trip (63 points), The Addams Family (62 points), Fall (54 points), and The Addams Family 2 (39 points). The series top 10 saw The Night Agent and Reality Check: Inside America’s Next Top Model tie at 73 points each, with Love Is Blind (52 points), The Hunting Party (52 points), and Bridgerton (40 points) rounding out the top five.
Netflix also announced its March 2026 lineup, including all three seasons of HBO’s The Ricky Gervais Show and various originals.
