Josef Hörnqvist, head of the service office group, states: "The purpose of the renovation is to increase accessibility for the public with an increased number of reception counters as well as a refresh of the reception area."
During the construction period, visitors will have access to a smaller indoor space at the service office. This may mean some will have to wait outside for their turn. Additionally, disturbing noises may occur during daytime due to the work.
The renovation is expected to be completed in week 34, meaning disruptions will continue for several months. The police advise visitors to plan their visits accordingly to avoid longer waiting times.
