The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced its third National Track & Field Rating Index (TFRI) checkpoint for the indoor season, highlighting competitive adjustments among college programs.
In NCAA Division III, the St. Olaf College men's team secured its third consecutive top-25 ranking at No. 21. Meanwhile, the Central College women's team advanced 10 spots from No. 21 to No. 11 following a strong weekend of competition.
NCAA Division II saw the University of Indianapolis men's team reenter the top 10 at No. 9, accumulating 72.72 points, making it the highest-ranked Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) program. The ranking includes 10 performances, notably the Distance Medley Relay team of Josue, Le Cadre, Lateef Mustafaa, Yanis Le Mouillour, and Felix Rivet, which placed second nationally and contributed 20.87 points. Other contributors include Le Cadre, Le Mouillour, and Rivet in the 800m, mile, and 3000m events, Alex Meyer in long and high jump, and Dylan Mayhew in weight throw.
Harding University's men's team held steady at No. 10 with 65.52 points, anchored by senior Vlad Malykhin's national-leading pole vault of 5.45m (17-10.50) at the Wooo Pig Classic. The Bisons also feature Anton Kopytko at No. 5 in long jump (7.49m), Yves Bilong at No. 5 in triple jump (15.55m), and Caledon Ruwende at No. 6 in the 200m (21.10 seconds). Additional depth comes from Nathan Boulay and Artem Konovalenko in triple jump, and Everett Mumme in pole vault. Harding remains the top independent program in Division II.
In Division I, Ole Miss men's track and field entered at No. 10.
