The dog bit a 42-year-old man living on Third Street in MGR Nagar, Gandhi Nagar, and a 56-year-old man working at a commercial establishment in the same area a few days ago. Both received anti-rabies treatment at the Podanur Urban Primary Health Centre.

Residents found the dog dead on Wednesday morning. This has sparked fear in the locality amid ongoing complaints about stray dogs.
