Tove forgoes runway show for fall 2026 collection

The British fashion brand Tove has released its fall 2026 ready-to-wear collection without a traditional runway show, focusing instead on business expansion. Creative director Holly Wright emphasized the brand's British identity in designing a concise, versatile wardrobe. Key pieces highlight subtle rebellion and eccentricity.

Camille Perry and Holly Wright, founders of Tove, opted out of a fashion show this season to prioritize growth in the US and Middle East markets. As they planned this expansion, Wright reflected on what distinguishes Tove from other minimalist womenswear brands. She focused on the brand's British roots, embracing cultural eccentricity and imperfection.

"As a nation, I think we really celebrate differences and quirks. It’s a big part of who we are as a brand too. We find the beauty in independence, self-assuredness and subtle rebellion," Wright said.

The resulting collection features a tight selection of signature items that form a complete outfit while offering versatile styling options for day-to-night wear. Standout everyday pieces include gray wool menswear-inspired trousers with a twisted bow front, which can be matched with a similar shirt. The twisted bow detail also appears on skirts in gray wool, as well as plum and turquoise versions made from crepe viscose. Other highlights are backless cashmere sweaters and a red wool skirt suit expected to become bestsellers.

For special occasions, the lineup includes a gold strapless column gown with a draped, liquid-like appearance. Additionally, three sculptural designs—a jacket, a skirt, and a halter dress—are crafted from red hand-cut, crinkled satin ribbon embroidered onto black silk for contrast.

Tove introduced a new handbag named Ada in this collection, available in black croc-effect calf leather, or black and brown nappa leather. Its shape subtly echoes bags associated with Queen Elizabeth II, reinforcing the brand's British heritage.

The collection was detailed in a Vogue review published on February 26, 2026.
