Kiitos Brewing has expanded from its original Granary District spot in Salt Lake City to a new site in the Sugar House neighborhood. The expansion, which opened near the end of 2025, brings the brewery's popular craft beers and cocktails to a fresh audience. Owner Andrew Dasenbrock leads the effort after eight years at the first location.
Kiitos Brewing, a staple in Salt Lake City's Granary District, has launched a second location in the Sugar House area. The new site, situated at the corner of 1100 East and Kensington Avenue, opened toward the end of 2025, marking eight years since the brewery's inception in its original spot.
Andrew Dasenbrock, the owner and CEO, oversaw the project, which has quickly drawn both longtime patrons and local residents. The venue features a neighborhood-oriented atmosphere, enhanced by furnishings sourced from the recently shuttered Garage on Beck. This setup has contributed to its appeal among newcomers and regulars alike.
The menu mirrors the Granary District's offerings, with an extensive selection of craft beers. Highlights include a Japanese-style lager brewed with jasmine rice and Japanese hops, alongside varieties such as Blackberry Sour, Coffee Cream Ale, Coconut Stout, Creamsicle, Peach Pilsner, Salt n’ Pickle, and Czech Dark Lager. Complementing the beers are several signature cocktails.
The expansion preserves the friendly service and high-quality brews that have defined Kiitos since its start. As one observer noted, the staff remains 'super friendly and knowledgeable,' and the beers are 'superb.' This move extends the brewery's reach within Salt Lake City, fostering a sense of community in Sugar House.
