The watch world experienced a diverse array of new releases last week, with Kurono Tokyo surprising enthusiasts by unveiling its first diver's watch. This 46mm diving case uniquely houses a removable 35mm dressier piece, marking the brand's initial cushion-shaped case paired with a white dial featuring standard diving markers. Priced at $2,700, it represents a departure from Kurono's typical offerings.
Louis Vuitton presented the Éscale Au Mont Fuji, a 50mm white gold pocket watch that combines artistry and technical prowess. The dial showcases automatons depicting Japan's iconic Mount Fuji, following previous editions inspired by Paris and the Amazon. It includes a minute repeater and tourbillon calibre LFT AU14.03, with pricing available on application.
Serica reimagined the California dial in the Thailifornia Love, blending Thai and Roman numerals on a black dial within the 6190 Chronometer case. Limited to 100 pieces and exclusive to Thailand, its price is on request. Parmigiani Fleurier added the Tonda PF Automatic 36 mm Alta Rosa to its collection, featuring a rose-inspired pink hue in a 36mm stainless steel and platinum case. The PF770 automatic movement offers 60 hours of power reserve, priced at CHF 21,400.
Other highlights include Dennison's ALD Safari Capsule Collection with animal-print dials and 1.79 carats of diamonds for CHF 3,850; H. Moser & Cie's 50-piece Streamliner Alpine Pink Edition collaboration with the F1 team for CHF 59,000; and Ming's 57.04 Phoenix monopusher chronograph in a 40mm Art Deco-style case for CHF 7,250. Collaborations continued with Unimatic, Nigel Cabourn, and The Armoury releasing two 36mm models limited to 150 pieces each for €660, inspired by the Trans-Antarctic Expedition. Bremont partnered with Felix the Cat for the Altitude MB Meteor edition at €7,150, and Anders & Co introduced three new dials for the AC2 Volcán from £474.
