Sandi Nugroho stated, “This inspection is part of our preparedness steps to face the Lebaran mudik flow through Operation Ketupat 2026. We want to ensure all routes used by the public are in safe, worthy, and ready-to-use condition.”

He also highlighted the importance of synergy between Polri, TNI, local government, and related agencies to support smooth traffic. “Through good coordination and cooperation among agencies, we hope this year's mudik security implementation can run optimally, so the public can travel safely, smoothly, and comfortably,” he added.

Through this inspection, maximum anticipatory steps are expected to be taken so that Operation Ketupat 2026 in South Sumatra runs safely, orderly, and smoothly, providing comfort for mudik travelers. Additionally, the police chief opened the Pre-Operation Training for Ketupat Musi 2026 to prepare for Lebaran mudik and return flows.
