Summerville's Cuppa Manna rebrands as StillWild Coffee Co.

A popular coffee shop in Summerville, South Carolina, is undergoing a rebrand under new ownership. Former owners Mike and Janice Taylor are passing the business to David and Amy Boersma, who plan to rename it StillWild Coffee Co. and introduce in-house roasting and a refreshed menu.

The transition at the coffee shop located at 100 S Main St., Ste A, in Summerville, reflects a shift toward themes of rest and adventure inspired by the new owners' personal experiences. Mike and Janice Taylor, who previously ran Cuppa Manna, decided to hand over operations to spend more time with their family and grandchildren, as stated on the shop's website.

David and Amy Boersma aim to infuse the space with fresh energy. The website notes: “David and Amy are excited to bring fresh energy and excitement. In the coming weeks and months you might see some changes, but all of them are aimed at giving you the absolute best experience!” The rebranding draws from a period of intentional rest following a busy year, which the Boersmas describe as recharging their connections and priorities. This vision connects to Psalm 23, emphasizing connection, restoration, and safety amid life's challenges. As the website explains: “It’s about connection, restoration, and safety. Rest from anxiety, rest from the battles of life–in the very midst of those battles! I have personally experienced this in my own life and we hope and pray that with our little coffee shop we can provide an atmosphere where you can experience the same.”

Under the new name, StillWild Coffee Co., the shop will roast beans in-house to preserve natural flavors without additives. The menu will feature curated food options with fresh ingredients, simple preparations, and scratch-made items designed to complement the drinks. Merchandise including shirts, hats, and sweatshirts will also be available.

The grand reopening is scheduled for Saturday, March 7, subject to final preparations. Updates can be followed on Instagram, Facebook, or the website.
