Casio has officially released its G-Shock Mudmaster GGB100X series on the US online store. The lineup features five rugged analog-digital watches with quad sensors and Bluetooth connectivity, priced between $420 and $460. Designed for outdoor use, the models emphasize durability and advanced functionality.
Casio's G-Shock Mudmaster GGB100X series is now available directly through the company's US website, marking a wider rollout after initial sales via third-party retailers. The collection includes five models, with three featuring carbon fiber bezels and two with stainless steel options for a premium appearance.
The entry-level variants—GGB100X-1A, GGB100X-1A3, and GGB100X-1A9—are priced at $420 each. The GGB100XM-1A costs $440, while the GGB100XMB-1A, with an ion-plated finish, is listed at $460. All models share a robust case measuring 55.4 × 51.3 × 19.4 mm, constructed using the Carbon Core Guard structure that combines carbon fiber, resin, and stainless steel. They offer 200-meter water resistance and mud resistance, paired with resin straps for protection in harsh environments.
At the core of the watches is Casio's Quad Sensor system, which includes an altimeter measuring up to 10,000 meters, a barometer for tracking pressure changes and generating trend graphs, a digital compass, and a thermometer. A three-axis acceleration sensor enables step counting, allowing the device to function as a basic activity tracker.
Bluetooth integration connects the watches to the Casio Watches smartphone app, enabling automatic time synchronization, world-time adjustments for approximately 300 cities, mission logs, and location tracking. Additional features encompass a 1/100-second stopwatch, countdown timer, five daily alarms, LED illumination, and a full auto calendar extending to 2099. Powered by a CR2025 battery, the watches provide about two years of life, with a power-saving mode that deactivates sensors during inactivity.
These Mudmaster watches build on the series' reputation for outdoor reliability, incorporating bio-based resin components in the standard models for an eco-friendly touch.
