The International Taco and Asado Festival, an event focused on Mexican cuisine, has announced its 2026 edition at the Unidad Deportiva de Amecameca, located at Avenida Ayapango number 5, in Mexico State. Around 100 exhibitors are expected to offer more than 100 taco varieties, along with other dishes like chicken wings and Brazilian skewers.
Entry to the sports venue is free, though it has not been specified if there is a fee to enter the fair. Hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, and 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 15. In addition to tacos, attendees can purchase prepared or take-home meat cuts, beef burgers, and wings from Alas de Adolfo restaurant, described as “the juiciest and spiciest.”
For this edition, planned activities include dynamics to try different types of tacos, prizes for contest winners (to be confirmed), the King of the Taco Challenge (guidelines to be announced), live music, and recreational events. In the 2025 edition, there were international guests from countries like Argentina, wrestling shows, and a botarga race, revealed as surprises prior to the event.
