The family of the late Tika Mega Lestari, Pesulap Merah's first wife, has expressed deep disappointment over her husband's treatment during her illness. They accuse Marcel Radhival of failing to provide adequate care despite maintaining the marriage, while denying previous claims of harmonious polygamy.
Spotlight has returned to the family life of Marcel Radhival, known as Pesulap Merah, through statements from the family of his late first wife, Tika Mega Lestari. In an interview circulating on social media in early February 2026, Tika's mother revealed that her daughter endured severe emotional stress after discovering her husband's secret marriage to Ratu Rizky Nabila.
"She was heartbroken because she had been cheated on; he had already married again," said Tika Mega Lestari's mother, quoted on February 10, 2026.
The family highlighted that Tika's illness was not met with adequate attention from Pesulap Merah. Despite keeping the marriage, the late wife was allegedly not properly cared for. "I'm so disappointed. If he no longer wanted my daughter, why not let her go? Why keep her but not take care of her?" the mother stated.
Furthermore, Pesulap Merah's previous claims of harmonious polygamy—including a joint live appearance with both wives—were refuted as forced pretense. "She was forced to go live with all three, pretending to be harmonious," added Tika's mother. The family also affirmed that Tika never consented to the second marriage. "Where would a wife approve of her husband marrying again? At first, (Tika) didn't even know he had married again," she said.
This statement has sparked public debate on polygamy practices and marital responsibilities, with the family emphasizing the emotional toll on Tika until her passing.
