Sheikh Mohammed attends Super Saturday at Meydan Racecourse

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, attended the Super Saturday event at Meydan Racecourse. The annual horse racing card features nine races and serves as a dress rehearsal for the upcoming 30th Dubai World Cup. Sheikh Mohammed highlighted Dubai's leading role in global horse racing during the event.

The Super Saturday event took place at Meydan Racecourse in Dubai, drawing elite participants from around the world. According to the Dubai Media Office, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, who is also the Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, was present at the occasion.

Sheikh Mohammed stated that the event "reflects Dubai’s leading position in global horse racing and the remarkable progress we have achieved in this sport." He added, "We are proud to welcome elite horses, owners, jockeys and trainers from around the world to compete in Dubai." Furthermore, he expressed commitment to the future, saying, "We will continue to build on this legacy and further strengthen Dubai’s stature as a global hub for equestrian sport."

Super Saturday consists of a nine-race card, with winners securing guaranteed spots in the 30th Dubai World Cup, scheduled one month later. This annual fixture acts as the traditional dress rehearsal for the marquee horse racing event.
