ZEE5 reveals first look of Jitendra Kumar's Dalimb film

ZEE5 has unveiled the first look poster for its upcoming thriller-drama Dalimb: The Myth, starring Jitendra Kumar in a transformed role. The film, directed by Priya Aven, is set for a direct OTT release soon. Known for his relatable roles in Panchayat and Kota Factory, Kumar appears in traditional folk attire in the poster.

On Monday, ZEE5 announced the first look of Dalimb: The Myth, an upcoming Hindi film led by Jitendra Kumar. The actor, recognized for his everyday characters in series like Panchayat and Kota Factory, takes on a markedly different persona as a traditional performing artist rooted in folklore traditions. In the poster, Kumar is dressed in vibrant attire, contrasting his usual boy-next-door image.

The poster's caption states: “Rangon ke beech ek aisa rahasya… jo kabhi dikhta nahin. (A mystery shrouded amidst all the colours, a mystery that no one can see.) This Holi, the colour isn’t celebration… it’s a warning. Dalimb – The myth is watching.” The title 'Dalimb' translates to 'Pomegranate' in Marathi, hinting at thematic elements tied to the festival of colors.

Directed by debutant Priya Aven, who previously contributed to projects such as Shabaash Mithu and Andhadhun, the film is produced by Tanuj Garg and Atul Kasbekar of Ellipsis Entertainment. The cast includes Priya Bapat, Kshitish Date, Kavin Dave, Sai Prasad, Harish Kulkarni, and Sagar Yadav alongside Kumar. A specific premiere date on ZEE5 remains unannounced, with the movie slated for streaming soon.

Kumar's most recent appearance was in Bhagwat Chapter One: Raakshas, which debuted on OTT in October 2025. This project marks another shift for the actor into genre-driven storytelling.
