Channel 4 has released the first-look trailer for its upcoming eight-part drama series A Woman of Substance, starring Brenda Blethyn as the older Emma Harte. The adaptation reimagines the 1979 novel by Barbara Taylor Bradford, following an ambitious Yorkshire maid's rise to become the world's richest woman. The series is set to air on Channel 4 in 2026, reviving the broadcaster's biggest-ever drama after 40 years.
