Kenya Airways has announced its role as the official Airline Partner for the 2026 Magical Kenya Open, sponsoring Kenyan golfers and offering travel discounts to fans.

Kenya Airways has entered a significant partnership with the 2026 Magical Kenya Open (MKO), where it will sponsor Kenyan golfers including Justus Madoya, Dismas Indiza, Isaiah Otuke, and Jacob Okello. The deal includes travel support, branded kits, and discounted fares for international participants and fans, aimed at promoting local talent and sports tourism.

Julius Thairu, Kenya Airways' Chief Customer and Commercial Officer, stated, "Over the years, our partnership with the Magical Kenya Open has evolved into a strategic partnership around showcasing Kenya as a premier global golfing destination while promoting local talent in sports."

As part of the support, the airline will provide 20 complimentary tickets across its network and discounts for players, caddies, and fans arriving from abroad. The MKO, part of the DP Tour and held since 1967, is expected to draw over 7,000 international visitors, boosting Kenya's economy.

Zuhura Ogada, Director for Public Relations and Communications at Kenya Open Golf Limited, noted, "With partners like Kenya Airways, the tournament brings out the very best of Kenyan hospitality. The partnership has grown stronger over the years, as Kenya Airways have been our partners since 2022, and the Magical Kenya Open is set to generate millions of shillings for the Kenyan economy through early-arriving players."
