5 Seconds of Summer release sixth album Everyone’s A Star!

Australian band 5 Seconds of Summer has unveiled their sixth studio album, Everyone’s A Star!, via Republic Records on November 14, 2025. The record features high-energy tracks like 'Telephone Busy,' accompanied by a new music video, and marks a vibrant shift from their previous introspective work. The release coincides with announcements for their 2026 world tour.

Album Overview

5 Seconds of Summer, consisting of Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford, Calum Hood, and Ashton Irwin, dropped Everyone’s A Star! today, their sixth full-length album. Recorded in Los Angeles and Nashville during 2024 and 2025, the album was produced by Jason Evigan, Julian Bunetta, and John Ryan. The band described it in a statement: “We built this record from a really genuine place. We weren’t chasing a sound or a trend, we were chasing what felt exciting to us. Every track feels alive in a way that reminds us of why we started making music in the first place. Everyone’s A Star! is the most ‘us’ we’ve ever sounded, and we’re so proud to share it with everyone who’s been part of this journey.”

Hemmings told Billboard the new collection represents a “180 [degree] flip” from their 2022 self-titled album's introspective tone, calling it their “best work.” The tracklist includes: 1. Everyone’s A Star! 2. NOT OK 3. Telephone Busy 4. Boyband 5. No. 1 Obsession 6. I’m Scared I’ll Never Sleep 7. istillfeelthesame 8. Ghost 9. Sick of Myself 10. Evolve 11. The Rocks 12. Jawbreaker.

Preceding singles were 'NOT OK' with a video directed by Hannah Lux Davis, 'Boyband' as an ode to fans, and 'Telephone Busy,' whose video was helmed by Frank Borin.

Promotional Events and Tour

To celebrate, the band held a pop-up performance in Los Angeles, shutting down Sunset Boulevard and playing hits like “Youngblood” alongside new tracks. In London, they hosted an intimate listening event at The Outernet, performing in a glass box after surprising fans by posing as mannequins on Denmark Street.

The Everyone’s A Star! Tour begins in March 2026 with UK and Ireland dates, followed by Europe, a US leg from May to August—including two nights at Madison Square Garden—and concludes in Australia in November 2026. The band has sold over 18 million albums, generated 10 billion streams, and sold six million tickets worldwide, with three Billboard 200 No. 1 debuts.
