Nearly 1,000 developers gathered in Miami Beach for the EasyA Hackathon at Consensus Miami 2026, building AI-native projects focused on autonomous payments, drones, and consumer apps. The event highlighted a shift toward practical AI and blockchain applications.
Brothers Dom and Philip Kwok, co-founders of EasyA, described the gathering as a launchpad for major companies. Dom Kwok said during an interview, “We want billion-dollar companies coming out of EasyA.” Past participants include Cognition AI, now valued at roughly $10 billion, and Axal, which builds stablecoin yield products backed by bitcoin.
