A Bleacher Report analyst has recommended that the Pittsburgh Steelers sign one more experienced wide receiver this offseason.
The suggestion aims to elevate the team's offense, which has ranked in the bottom half of the league each season since 2018. Kristopher Knox wrote that adding a veteran like DeAndre Hopkins or Stefon Diggs alongside DK Metcalf and Michael Pittman Jr. could create a playoff-caliber group. He noted that rookies Germie Bernard and Kaden Wetjen remain unproven and that Aaron Rodgers has historically struggled to connect quickly with young players. Pittsburgh recently lost Calvin Austin III, its former No. 2 receiver, to the New York Giants.
