Singer Anitta revealed she decided to redirect album Equilibrium 2 toward the Brazilian public after initially planning an international focus.
Anitta released the album Equilibrium 2 on Friday (24). The second part of the project, started in April, was initially aimed at foreign audiences, but the artist changed her mind.
She explained the decision during a virtual press meeting. "I learned a lot and gave up on making this second part of the album international. I brought it back to Brazil, because I have more time for myself," she said.
The filming routine for the movie Pedro e Nina from Estúdios Globo influenced the change. Anitta stated that the intense work made her return to an old pace and harmed her internal growth. "I am truly happy in Brazil. I may have international desires, but happiness is living in my country," she added.
The artist also defended ending the 6x1 work schedule and criticized social media algorithms and addictions to bets and smartphones as factors affecting the public and her career.
