The National Social Security Administration released the June payment schedule and confirmed a 2.58% adjustment to minimum pensions, which will reach 403,317.99 pesos plus a 70,000-peso bonus.
Anses reported that the minimum pension in June will be 403,317.99 pesos plus a 70,000-peso bonus, for a total of 473,317.99 pesos. This represents an increase of 10,144 pesos from May, based on the mobility formula tied to April's CPI.
Beneficiaries will also receive the June bonus payment, calculated at approximately 201,659 pesos for those receiving the minimum, raising the total income to around 674,977 pesos.
The payment calendar is organized by the last digit of the national ID. For example, minimum pensions with ID ending in 2 will be paid on June 10 and those ending in 3 on June 11. Non-contributory pensions with IDs ending in 2 and 3 will be paid on June 9.
A couple of retirees receiving the minimum will cover about 60% of the basic basket for seniors with these amounts, according to April data from the Buenos Aires ombudsman's office, although the bonus payment will raise coverage to 85.6%.
