The Argentine government announced a special consular mission and two new flights with rescue teams to assist those affected by the earthquakes in Venezuela.
Foreign Minister Pablo Quirno reported that the aircraft will transport officers from the Argentine Federal Police and from the province of Buenos Aires.
The consular mission will set up a humanitarian channel to search for missing persons, register the injured and deceased, assist unaccompanied minors, and issue emergency documentation.
Argentina had already sent a first contingent with military personnel and search dogs on Friday.
