Former Miami Heat teammates Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro were involved in a physical altercation on Friday morning in Las Vegas. Adebayo struck Herro after approaching him about recent social media comments. The incident occurred at a gym inside the Resorts World Casino.
The confrontation took place on a practice court in front of Herro's AAU team. Adebayo walked onto the courts, Herro spoke to him, and Adebayo punched him without hesitation. Herro's coach intervened, and security escorted Herro out as he yelled at his former teammate. Both players left the scene independently.
The two were in Las Vegas for the NBA Summer League. Herro had been traded from the Heat to the Milwaukee Bucks last month in a deal centered on Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Heat and Bucks faced each other on Friday at the Thomas & Mack Center, where Herro was interviewed and said it was all love in Miami.
The Heat told multiple outlets they were aware of the incident but offered no further comment. Herro declined to comment when approached afterward.
