Blondshell has announced her third studio album, 'Violins', due for release on September 25. The Los Angeles artist shared the anthemic title track along with a music video directed by Sabra Binder.
Sabrina Teitelbaum, who performs as Blondshell, will release the 11-track record via Partisan Records. The album follows her 2025 release 'If You Asked for a Picture' and includes the recent single 'Heart Has to Work So Hard'.
Teitelbaum described the title track as summing up the project. "This song sums up the album in a lot of ways," she said in a statement. She highlighted themes of patience, kindness, violence, and slow healing, adding that the record features "big lead lines" and is "heavy in a way."
The album was produced by Yves Rothman, mixed by Beatriz Artola, and mastered by Emily Lazar. It explores troubled friendships, religion, the body, and healing, according to a press release.
Blondshell is also set to tour North America, the UK, and Europe later this year, including a headline show at London's Roundhouse on December 15. The Scaring Strangers Tour begins in August in San Diego.
