Henderson Silver Knights forward Braeden Bowman has been selected as the Fortune Tires “Expect More” AHL Player of the Month for April. The American Hockey League announced the honor from Springfield, Massachusetts. Bowman posted five goals and nine assists in eight games after returning from the Vegas Golden Knights.
Braeden Bowman returned to the Henderson Silver Knights on April 1 following nearly five months with the NHL's Vegas Golden Knights. In his eight games back, he tallied 14 points, including five goals—three of which were game-winners—and nine assists. He recorded points in every contest during that stretch, helping Henderson secure a playoff spot. Fortune Tires, the official tire of the AHL, will donate $500 to Bowman's charity of choice as part of the monthly award. Bowman opened his return with an assist on April 3 against Tucson. The next night, he notched four points, including the winning goal with 15.7 seconds left in a 5-4 victory over Tucson that clinched a playoff berth. He added two goals in a 3-1 win at Coachella Valley on April 8, two assists in a 9-6 triumph over San Jose on April 10, and a goal plus an assist in a 4-1 decision against the Barracuda on April 11. The 22-year-old from Kitchener, Ontario, finished the regular season with 12 goals and 14 assists for 26 points in 20 games with Henderson. Bowman made his NHL debut with Vegas on November 13, 2025, collecting eight goals and 18 assists in 54 games there. He signed as a free agent with the Golden Knights on March 2, 2025, after posting 36 points in 68 games as a rookie for Henderson in 2024-25.
