Britain’s Caroline Harris and D. Day won the Longines Luhmühlen Horse Trials CCI5* on 21 June 2026. The pair finished with a faultless showjumping round to secure their second five-star victory.
Caroline Harris and the 12-year-old gelding D. Day completed the event on a score that left them 2.7 penalties ahead of second place. They had held the lead after cross-country and produced a clear round under pressure in the final phase.
Emily King and Valmy Biats finished second after a clear showjumping performance. US rider Boyd Martin and Shanroe Cooley took third place on a score of 38.1.
In the CCI4*-S Meßmer Trophy, Julia Krajewski and Uelzener’s Nickel won with a final score of 27.7. The German pair added 0.8 of a time-penalty in showjumping to their two-phase total.
Harry Horton completed his first five-star event in 10th place aboard Cooley With Ambition.
