Rescued cat Milu from Minas Gerais gained national fame by predicting football match results using food bowls decorated with team flags.
Milu was adopted in February 2020 after being found abandoned. His owner, Natan Pinheiro, and sister chose the name inspired by a Gusttavo Lima song. The prediction method, started as a game inspired by the 2010 octopus Paul, has correctly forecast scores in national and international competitions, including the 2026 World Cup.
The cat, who suffered an attack about three years ago and now lives strictly indoors, records videos in advance to respect his pace. When he predicts a team's loss, the owner receives aggressive messages and threats on social media. Natan states that Milu is not to blame and that the activity is only entertainment.
Fans send premium food in gratitude, improving the animal's diet. Natan plans to extend the predictions to the Libertadores and Sudamericana.
